Hey there.
My name's Mary Cross and this blog is dedicated to my love of good beer and my unwillingness to drink anything but. Over the course of the next few weeks, I'll be drinking and writing (never together, for your sake).
I'm a journalism and English major here at Ohio University in beautiful Athens, Ohio. I'm originally from Cleveland, home of the Great Lakes Brewery. Neither of my parents drink beer, so I've had to discover my appreciation for good beer through my college experience, of course!
My favorite bar here in Athens is Jackie O's for its in-house brewery and live music. The good folks of Athens seem to flock to Jackie O's for the same reasons I do, creating a microcosm of earthy, beer-drinkin', two-steppin' guys and gals, all howling at the moon together on any given night.
